BLUEFINS MAKE HISTORY IN NATIONAL ARENA SWIMMING LEAGUE 2024/25 💙

Updated: 3 days ago

The National Arena Swimming League is one of the UK’s most electric club competitions. For Bluefins, the 2024/25 season was historic:

  • First-ever season with three teams across all divisions — a scale of representation only rivalled in the South East by the powerhouse clubs Guildford and Wycombe.

  • Momentum came off the back of a stellar 2023/24, where our A Team earned promotion to the Premier Division and our B Team powered into Division 1.

💥 Round 1 – A Strong Opening

💙 A Team (Premier Division): 6th place

💙 B Team (Division 1 West): 3rd place

💙 C Team (Division 2 West): 5th place

Three teams competing simultaneously — an exciting sign of Bluefins’ expanding strength.

⚡ Round 2 – Stepping Up the Pace

💙 A Team: 5th — just 1 point shy of 4th.

💙 B Team: Consistent 3rd finish.

💙 C Team: 5th, supported by PBs and relentless team energy.

🔥 Round 3 – Strong Finishes

💙 A Team (Premier Division): 188 points

💙 B Team (Division 1 West): 160 points

💙 C Team (Division 2 West): 237 points

A fantastic show of consistency across all squads, with athletes racing hard and supporters raising the roof.

🏆 Final League Standings

After three intense rounds, here’s how the Bluefins squads finished overall (full results here):

💙 A Team (Premier Division)15th overall with 291 points

💙 B Team (Division 1 West)9th overall with 359 points

💙 C Team (Division 2 West)9th overall with 340 points

🌟 What This Means for Bluefins

This Arena League season was about more than results — it was a landmark moment for the club.

  • Club Depth: Three teams battling in three divisions, week after week.

  • Pathway Strength: From entry-level racers to Premier performers — every age and stage represented.

  • Unmatched Unity: Coaches, athletes, families, and fans brought the noise and the passion across venues.

💙 Final Word

The 2024/25 National Arena Swimming League was a defining chapter for Bluefins: a triple-team debut, competitive finishes, and an electric club culture that carried us through each round.

Even better, heading into 2025/26, all three teams remain secure in their respective divisions — proof of the strength and resilience of our pathway.

From nail-biting relays to unforgettable atmospheres, Bluefins has shown we belong among the very best.

🐬 Onwards and upwards. Let’s go, Fins!
