Seattle, 7th August 2025

Congratulations to Coach Spencer, who once again made headlines at the U.S. Masters Swimming National Championships in Seattle. Competing in the 55–59yrs age group, Spencer delivered a powerful performance in the 100m Freestyle, lowering his own British Record.

His previous mark stood at 57.30 seconds, but in Seattle he stopped the clock at 57.10 (LC) — shaving another two tenths off the record and reinforcing his place at the top of British Masters sprinting.

This achievement is even more remarkable given that Spencer already held the record coming into the meet. To improve it on the international stage, against strong competition, highlights both his consistency and his relentless drive for improvement.
