BLUEFINS CELEBRATE 16 NATIONAL QUALIFIERS FOR 2025 SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIPS 🇬🇧

Massive congratulations to our 16 Bluefins swimmers who have qualified for the 2025 Summer National Championships in Sheffield. This is a phenomenal achievement for the club, and a reflection of the talent, commitment, and hard work of our athletes, coaches, and wider Bluefins family.

Our qualifiers this year are: Ollie S, Rhys, Oli P, Piaras, Archie, Ethan, Rijul, Daniel, Ted, Tom, Cameron M, Rebecca, Lizzie, Clara, Freya, and Jody. 👏

The Pinnacle of the Season 🏆

For any swimmer, a place at the British or English Nationals is the reward for years of dedication, hours of training, and an unrelenting focus on skill and performance. These Championships bring together the very best swimmers in the country, with finals and podiums often featuring future Olympians.

To have 16 athletes from Bluefins competing on this stage is not just an individual triumph for each swimmer, but also a milestone for the club — demonstrating the strength of our pathway from Skills Academy to Performance squads.

A Journey Through the Pathway 🌟

What makes this group so special is that almost all of them are homegrown Bluefins swimmers. Many started their journey in our Skills Academy, learned their craft through Competitive and County Development squads, and are now representing the club on the biggest domestic stage.

This shows the value of our philosophy: building a strong base of technical skills, supporting progression at every level, and providing exceptional coaching and opportunities.

• Sprint specialists chasing PBs in 50s and 100s.

• Technicians in stroke events like Breaststroke, Backstroke, and Fly.
