A record-breaking 2025 so far for Bluefins 💙💗

Summer Tickover – Week 2, August 2025

🔥 As we enter the second week of our Summer Tickover programme, it feels like the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the amazing achievements of our swimmers during the first half of the year. From January through to the end of the long-course season, Bluefins athletes have been rewriting the club record books on an almost weekly basis. And the numbers speak for themselves…119 Club Records (and counting!) 😱💥

Our swimmers have already set a phenomenal 119 CLUB RECORDS in 2025 — and we’re only in August! Each one of those swims earned a coveted Pink Hat 🩷🧢, a symbol of achievement, commitment, and progression within the club.

That means:

💙 119 record-breaking swims

💗 119 pink hats earned

🏊‍♀️ 20 incredible athletes recognised.

Each of these athletes has shown what can be achieved with consistency, dedication, and the willingness to push beyond limits.

Year-on-Year Growth 📈

It’s not just the number of records that’s impressive — it’s the clear progression we’re seeing season after season:

📆 2023: 76 Club Records

📆 2024: 82 Club Records

➡️ 2025: 119 Club Records (so far!) 🚀

This growth is a reflection of the strength of our pathway, the dedication of our coaching team, and the belief that every swimmer has the potential to keep improving.

With several months still to go in 2025, we know this record tally isn’t finished yet. The momentum is with us, and every new personal best has the potential to become another record-breaking swim.
